The Sleep of Death

The Sleep of Death is a 1980 SwedishIrish historical horror film directed by Calvin Floyd and starring Per Oscarsson, Curd Jrgens, Patrick Magee and Maril Tolo. It is based on the novel The Room at the Flying Dragon by Sheridan Le Fanu. In 1815 at the end of the Napoleonic Wars, a young Englishman travels to France in pursuit of a woman. Once there he begins to experience otherworldly events. Its Swedish title is Ondskans Vrdshus.
